He mocks apostles and church leadership and dissents from established doctrine (which, unlike his satirical barbs at the bretheren, would probably not get him in trouble), but then, at the end of his article/webbook, posts a copy of his TR to prove that he is a faithful Latter Day Saint.Since he would seem to have trouble responding in the affirmative to at least two of the TR questions, I wonder if his recommend has now been surrendered. I also wonder if he is and/or how long he will stay a member in good standing, since he appears to be well down the road to complete apostasy.http://breakingthepatriarchalgrip.blogspot.com/Warning: Some graphic pictures, and totally off-the-wall philosophies.

No.I am still not in any position to judge his worthiness to be a member of the Church, and unless you are in a position of authority over him, neither do you. Even if so a forum on a message board is hardly the location for such a discussion.
alter idem Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I don't know about this guy(you'd have to ask him), but some people rationalize and some even lie.The Bishop asks questions and the person answers. Unless the spirit warns him that the person is not being truthful, (which then he can ask more questions to try to get the person to be truthful) he'll trust the person is being honest and give them the recommend. It is sad that people are dishonest but they have their agency and can choose good or evil, and one day they will account for the wrong choices for which they have not repented.
