When you ponder this question you start to walk outside the realms of conservative thought. In short without saying too much Nephi would have been filled with the Holy Spirit in an intuitive way to the highest degree. Nephi would have pondered the concepts and processes that relate to that realization, one of those concepts would have been his own death and would have helped him deal with life well. When I listen to Jeffery R Holland I see and hear the same qualities. The media questions him but don’t stand a chance. Kind regards Ashley Challis.

What is the joy of the saints? The solution to theodicy. What does God want from me specifically? How much can the atonement heal in mortality and what must await the next life? How do you kill pride, avarice, and hatred in the human soul? What is to come in the next few years (it is in the Book of Mormon)? What is the sin holding me personally back? By what means does God command the elements? What do the exalted do for fun? How do I reclaim the childish sense of wonder and resignation that will lead me back to God? How can one such as me be made into a being that, when he returns with the Savior, will be like him?
