Buzzard Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I checked the "Gospel Library" app on my smartphone. Sat. AM talk was about Temples, did not speak in Sat. PM, but in the Priesthood session talked about standing up for the gospel, and related a story about being in the Army as the Catholics, Protestants, and Jews were dispatched to their various meetings. When the drill sargent looked up and saw just a few men still on the parade ground, he asked them what they were, and they all responded "Mormon!", so he told them to go find someplace to meet. It is just like those who hate representatives of any organization or political party. Once you stand in opposition to something you start to imagine all sorts of offense and plots.

People hate me because I'm Mormon. Sure, they claim to hate me because I defecate on their doorstep, throw rocks at their windows, and let the air out of their tires but I know the real reason.
