She dealt with the miracles as a reporter, not a historian. Where she is laughing, I am trying to seek understanding.I never claimed that the movie should be "rejected." I only suggested that someone should be wary about using it as a "reference", or for "historical understanding." If someone wants to understand history, or God's dealings with mankind, then they should study accurate, reliable accounts of those things, not dramatized reenactments of dubious origin.

Don't watch "Braveheart" to learn about William Wallace, don't watch "The Sound of Music" to learn about Maria Von Trapp's life, don't watch "JFK" to learn about the JFK assassination, and don't watch "17 Miracles" to learn about the handcart pioneers.
