Do We Worship The Holy Ghost?

Interesting, I suppose in a celestial world God rules personally. Perhaps when venturing into the peopling of terrestrial world's business, a God must select a Christ and a Ghost

Yes, that is the clear implication, which is why the ultimate sin is that against the Holy Ghost.

The unpardonable sin against the Holy Ghost is ultimately a total and complete rebellion against Christ after the Holy Ghost has imparted a sure and in depth revelatory knowledge of His divinity and work. This rebellion culminates in a fervent desire to dethrone Christ and, if possible, to destroy Him...

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. (Hebrews 6)

And again...

34 Concerning whom I have said there is no forgiveness in this world nor in the world to come—

35 Having denied the Holy Spirit after having received it, and having denied the Only Begotten Son of the Father, having crucified him unto themselves and put him to an open shame. (D&C 76)

Yes, and that is tied to the fact that the Holy Ghost is capable of more intimate form of communication. Once the Holy Ghost has finished His testifying rebelling to that extent puts you in very dangerous territory. Fortunately, most of us have not reached that level of knowledge.
