Pinecone Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Considering we are taught this world is the worst of all I think we should assume that if we make contact they would seek to quarantine or destroy us. I wouldn't really blame them.Yep, the only world in Creation containing inhabitants who would condemn its Creator to death.

I wouldn't really blame them. I have heard that before but have never been able to get references. Could you tell me where to find that?
DarkScythe Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I have a weird and mischievous wish that God will choose to appear to unrepentant Klansmen during the resurrection as a large black man with very dark skin and say "what were you expecting?" of course God has a sense of humor. I will not be surprised that he thought of that or at least read your idea. I will laugh hard if he actually did that in the past or will do that in the resurrection.
carbon dioxide Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Although I appreciate your humor on this, in all seriousness I would imagine that the Gospel is already being preached where any of Father's children dwell. And I expect that they have their own dispensations, such that we would not be permitted to reach them to screw up their progression.I also expect that any earthlike worlds we are able to visit (unlikely, unless new physics is discovered) will be unpeopled. I'd be happy to discover otherwise, though (unless they were the Borg!).The principles and doctrines of the LDS Church are found and taught on every planet that has man on it. "Mormonism" if one wants to call it might be small in this planet but its the dominant view across the universe. 1
