So while engaging another individual in discourse of this particular book by Hal Lindsey I feel the need to find a more respectable and basic view of this book before going any further. I'm looking for view points from both LDS and especially Non-LDS on the subject matter as well as the author. From my preliminary research Hal seems like an individual who doesn't do his due diligence in ensuring his scholarly understanding is correct. Are there any individuals who would like to relate either anecdotal evidence or other information that could expand this?

My personal feelings is that he his a sensationalist; capitalizing on any given current events to sell a book based on his previous publications.

I do not know that book, but I do know that "jihad" and "hatred" cannot properly be used in the same sentence.

If you are full of hatred, or acting from hatred, you have lost your jihad, are failing your jihad (until you overcome such a weakness).

Jihad is struggle, or . . . the process of overcoming.

It is true that many who are Muslims do not understand this much of their own religion, however. It is true that many human beings do not understand this much, at all.

I havn't read that one but I have watched Hal Lindsey for years and find him quite accurate in his assesment of the way the world and middle east is going. One would do well to at least consider and weigh his assesments in your studies.
