emeliza Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I noticed as well that he left quite quickly. Normally he stops and shakes hands, but he did not stop at all. The camera always follows him because he always hugs people and smiles, but when he was leaving that first conference at least, he didn't stop and he didn't really smile. That is what I noticed was odd. But his talks were wonderful and he was definitely more animated and joked a lot.
Bill “Papa” Lee Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 So, ordinarily, the Prophet is the opening speaker for conference. Today, President Monson spoke after other speakers. He opened his remarks with a jolly, "hello" which makes me think that perhaps he came in late.Does anyone know the whole story?He is 84, he is entitled.
Bill “Papa” Lee Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I wonder if he spent the night in the hospital with his wife. Apparently she isn't doing well again.So sad...as if he does not have enough to worry about.
