Bill “Papa” Lee
On Wednesday I was on the way to a 2 hour class. When I got to a very busy intersection there was a man, with a sign that said “Give him a call” on one side and “I love Jesus” on the other with a big heart symbol surrounding each phrase. The problem was that he was so zealous he was running out into traffic, would not move out of the way of cars with green lights, I almost hit him when he ran out in front of me.I was afraid he was going to get hurt or cause an accident…I am sure he viewed it as religious persecution. Was it the right thing to do? I would have done the same if he was a missionary from our Church. Link to comment
KevinG
If I saw one of our missionaries doing something dumb (potentially injuring himself) I would have dragged him out of the street and lectured him on how his parents didn't sacrifice to raise him and send him on a mission so he could come home in a body bag!I would then throw his bicycle in the back of my van and drive him to a safer preaching location of his choice. (since it wasn't one of ours I think you did the right thing by getting help from the authorities). Edited September 30, 2011 by DaddyG 1 Link to comment

This was at 285 access, and Chamblee Dunwoody road. I tell you because you will know where it is. Link to comment

That is a heavily travelled area - especially on a Friday afternoon!!This was Wednesday at lunch...and traffic was crazy bad. I told the dispatcher at 911, that I am a retired officer and i love Jesus too, but this guys is going to get hurt. She said...I understand. Then asked how he was dressed...I told her red cutoffs and a tee shirt. Link to comment
