(Defraud here is referring specifically to sexual relations.)Aside, for Muslims during the month of Ramadan, sex of any type is strictly and specifically prohibited during the time of fasting.

cinepro Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I can see the logic in it as far as "controlling worldly appetites" goes, and I've heard rumors of people online who so abstain, but I've never seen anything published on the matter by the Church.More interesting is the 19th century tradition of abstinence during pregnancy and during the months of nursing. I know some LDS couples who follow that practice.
