Thursday Morning Thoughts

I stand in awe at his love and the plan.

He was called master and the great ‘I am”

Unimaginable the sacrifice, it is timeless.

Love is opposite of hate, lying or being dishonest.

It is something we see in a newborn, even honor.

It’s something we can lose then must find again.

When we search and pray, we will know him.

We find the words are for us and our neighbor,

When I think of love, he is the Lord and Master!

Good, straight-forward Christian message. Us as humans tend to look at superficial things of this world and believe that it's those things that will bring us happiness in our lives. What really brings us happiness is finding that relationship with Christ in our lives and following His plan that is for us.

Nice morning message Messenger... :good:

Good morning, fellows...

Thanks Messenger for a lovely thought... and blueadept I hope this finds you well.

I have to give a talk in Sacrament meeting this Sunday on what it means to be a covenant people... one part that I focus on is God's covenant of peace that he gives to us... so I want to leave this with you both (and for Rod and Patti Headlee as they await the hurricane)... 3rd Nephi 22:10 "For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee."

I'm 71 years old... I'm entering what I consider to be the waning years of my life... but I do not fear. God's covenant of peace and comfort shall not depart from me... nor will it from you... for He has so declared.

I leave this thought with you... from the beach on a misty morning...
