One Crazy Story

we have many people look at us like we are crazy when we tell them about the message of the Restoration. Is it a crazy story? is it too hard to Believe? My answer is NO, God is a god of miracles. Those of you who are converts please share about your first reaction to the message of the restoration. As a former member (raised in the church and attended for the first 25 years of my life), I do think the story is crazy, but not any crazier than the other belief systems that Christians hold dear. If god is not a god of miracles, then what's the use?

Actually, the LDS belief system, with it's unique perspective on the nature of the godhead, salvation, etc. actually makes more sense to me than the evangelical approach, or the mainstream Christian approach, for that matter. However, for me, that's not saying much.

Not really. How many people have you actually converted that did not already have a underlying belief in God, Jesus, angels and miracles?

Mormonisms is not such a big step from traditional Christianity as for example converting from Christianity to Scientology.

Speaking of Scientology, a former occupant of my business address was apparently on their mailing list, because just this morning I got a copy of "The Auditor", a scientology newspaper, in my mailbox.

After thumbing through it, all I can say is if testimonials can establish the truth of an unusual claim, Scientology must really, really be true.
