Bill “Papa” Lee Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Keeping our eye on the center. Too often I think we have our eyes fixed on the peripheral, instead of what is right in front of us. This is why I love this article. So how do we do it

Libs Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 That sounds like a wonderful exercise, Nicolas.Would you mind disclosing what the other topics were?
nicolasconnault Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 That sounds like a wonderful exercise, Nicolas.Would you mind disclosing what the other topics were? The colours have no meaning at all, I just used them to remember the topics. I've leant my books to an investigator at the moment, so I'm not exactly sure about the other 10 topics.First 10 topics:Faith (red)Repentance (aqua)Baptism (pink)Holy Ghost (blue)Prayer (yellow)Atonement (brown)Obedience (orange)Charity (green)Humility/Pride (pink)Free agency (purple)Next 10 topics (still deciding on some of them):PriesthoodProphetsRevelationSacrificeScripturesForgivenessTemptationWickedness/SinFear/HopeSharing the gospelOther prominent topics: blessings, salvation, commandments (sort of covered by "obedience"), Christlike attributes, service 1
Libs Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Looks like good lists (both of them). Not sure I could keep track of ten topics at a time. I might try just one at a time. Going through the Bible, especially, I would think would be a huge task.Looks like a really good way to study the scriptures, though. Thanks for sharing.

I would value knowing the results of your research.
