I actually prefer Wordpress over blogspot because there is much more you can do and it is much more user friendly than blogspot. It does get some getting used to and tweaking. I have several blogs, just check out my signature lol.

My friend is very interested in running blogs, so it just wouldn't surprise me if she found yours and was cheering you on.
