I think many of us secretly (or maybe not so secretly) hope to say something in a way that he has never heard it before which will not only click with him and help him to see the sense and truth in all of it, but to also say something like:

Thank you. Now I finally get it, and not only do I get it and accept it as truth now, thanks to you, but I'm also willing to share that truth with other people who I know are still trying to learn.

Again, I wholeheartedly thank you. I finally see the light now.

Eh, or maybe not. Maybe we're all here to say this stuff to someone like Rob because we've really got nothing better to do, at this moment.

the expression "priest after the order of Melchizedek" appears only in two places in the Bible (Psalm 110 and Hebrews 5-7), and only in reference to Jesus!

Rob, I'd be interested in your thoughts on this paper, which documents the understanding of Melchizedek representing a more ancient, kingly/temple/eternal Priesthood, especially in connection as to what was understood by the Dead Sea Scrolls community .
