Ariarates Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Since i guess i got it wrong, what DID you mean by the 'clutch to any straw' remarkI was thinking of the utter desparation and grief a parent must feel when losing a child and how you would be looking for something, anything, to hold on to. I figure the parents wouldn't start analyzing the blessing like we are doing, or think, "Wait a minute, how does this relate to LDS doctrine". That's what I was trying to say. Also, I didn't know that the "straw" had a negative connotation (not a native English speaker).
