J Green Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I don't remember the part of Leviticus that mentions BBQ sauce with the goat.
urroner Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I don't remember the part of Leviticus that mentions BBQ sauce with the goat. But which goat am I?
J Green Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 But which goat am I?There must have been a third goat, for the grill, which is why the HP had to take the BBQ sauce into the most holy place (Arbys?)
J Green Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 When I was just a young lad, my uncle David came to visit us in Ma'adi (Egypt), and he wanted to feast on baby goat, so we purchased one "for the grill." Only I never was part of the whole "grill" discussion. I suddenly thought I had a new pet and would run home from school every day just to play with it. Imagine my horror when I went to the back of the house one day only to see Abdu and his friend slitting the throat to drain the blood. I refused to partake in the goat/grill ritual. Also, there was no BBQ sauce.
e=mc2 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Not when there's a free meal to be had; in that case I'm never full.GULP! Oh I can see the payback here is just gonna suck! Lessee, that was an ALL you can eat wasn't it? They didn't charge per plate did they? In that case, I really only ate 5 plates full of food, not the 7 like I bragged....

They bring different cuts of meat by the table for a long as you want to keep eating. They have tri-tip sirloin, filet mignon, barbeque chicken, brisket, turkey wrapped in bacon, garlic sirloin, grilled pineapple, and a salad bar that's twenty feet long. It's pretty much the best restaurant ever.

Matthew J. Tandy Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I'm always up for Tucano's, as is my wife who enjoys laughing at us biblical nerds getting all excited. Incidentally, while the monthly potlucks fell apart that I put together owing to the fact that school returned with vigor, I will be hosting a second annual barbeque likely come late April or sometime in May. For those wanting to come, start planning on what you'll bring!
