The reality of the restoration

From a discussion elsewhere we were talking about how seeing the reality of restoration in our lives daily made apostasy less likely. I thought it deserved its own thread

Hamba mentioned recent counsel from elder bednar. What was that counsel was that?

For all, what realities of the restoration have you seen?

I think the recent solemn assembly and the great outpouring of the Spirit was a boost in my testimony

Please elaborate...  I am not entirely sure what "reality of restoration" means in practical terms?  (And this is not a challenge or criticism or anything like that, I am just genuinely unsure what you are talking about.  Possibly because I have no idea what the discussion elsewhere was about).
