notHagoth7 Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) The Constitution that patriots willingly granted us by their own self-sacrifice prohibits granting/receiving titles/patents of nobility. Intent: equality. An epicenter of the Declaration of Independence. However: Judicial branch requires that we rise for their approach, call them "your honor" (a title of nobility). Treason. Penalty? Silly string and stripped of titles? Many lawyers assume the title "Esquire" or Esq. (a title of nobility). And we know their tragic role in the downfall of Nephite society. Treason. Executive branch: the military/police have a rank system. Where men are required to salute and obey others (who may not be more noble than them) just because of an outward stripe or star on their uniform. Instead of honoring/encouraging egos, how about we instead honor the stars and stripes that represents the self-sacrifice of prior patriots, and what that God-given freedom truly stands for? All men are created equal. And made lower than the angels/valkyrie. Yes Calm, that IS a blatant appeal to emotion. And to reason. Am I beginning to disturb your calm? I hope? To restore it: And to those who dare disturb the calm of the innocent, from the dread pirate Roberta: James and John - sons of thunder. Edited February 27, 2017 by notHagoth7

They knowingly chose painful birth/growth over a breeze-filled Garden....not just for themselves, but for their children. Because they loved their children more than any pain they and their descendants might have to face. They knowingly leapt. They led the charge. And we humbly but hesitantly said "yes dear." If I'm understanding the narrative correctly, we wanted the Garden...to linger longer. (And who wouldn't?)

I understand your meaning. PofGP teaches as much, that this realm is an echo and extension of another. We would likely completely agree the founding documents were meant to mean equal rights. Equal freedoms. And with the Gospel dash of *everything in common* to level the playing field. Everything in common. Literally and figuratively. That was the intent. Agreed?
