What they have done is get married to someone of the "wrong" gender. Just like with people who are against mixed race marriage - they're against people who have married someone of the "wrong" race

No! No gender is wrong, and no race is wrong, and people marry people, not races and genders anyway! Anyone marrying for the sake of gender and race shows a horrible disregard of what the children of God are, and is further perverting and insulting the divine institution of marriage.

Ditto for opposition to mixed race marriage, right?

No, because the marriage is still between a man and a woman. Opposition to mixed race marriage is a racist issue, not a redefined / alternative marriage issue.

Religious freedoms have not been constrained in the least.

Whether or not you think they have been constrained or are under threat of being constrained is irrelevant to the fact that “just and holy principles” includes religious freedom, and if you agree with or believe in that, a pro-religious freedom orientation is perfectly justified and normal under natural law.

Peer and political / economic pressure alone are currently active forms of constraint that many are already subject to.

Interracial marriage is different than gay marriage because it is between a man and a woman. I know this first hand! Opposition to mixed race marriage is a racist issue, not a redefined / alternative marriage issue. I know this first hand as well!

And where not codified, peer and political / economic pressure alone are active forms of constraint that many are already subject to.
