What Are The Origins Of The "ordain Women" Group?

I know of three active, believing women in my ward sympathetic to OW. I'm sure it's a mixed group - like the church itself.

Why is that offensive? Gathering information to form a better perspective of the person's point of view should not be considered offensive.

I think rpn is offended that this thread may be construed as an invitation to speculate or gossip about Kate Kelly. I can see that as offensive. That was not my intent, tho.
