Traela Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 There's a little boy who has the same genetic disorder as my kids. He needs a bone marrow transplant, but no donor is available for him. Because his family are Hmong, a donor is most likely to be found in that ethnicity.I know there is a fairly sizable Hmong population in Utah. Does anyone have any connections with them, who could encourage someone within the culture to hold a bone marrow drive? It would be a great Eagle or Values project. If needed, I could facilitate contact between the family and the drive organizers. This family has already lost a child to this condition. I would love for this little boy to be given a fighting chance.
