Scott Lloyd Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 In the just-now-locked thread on Glenn Beck, I had composed this response to Seeking Understanding, but when I pushed the "Post" button, I found the thread had been locked. I think his question deserves a response, so I'm opening this thread for that purpose, but will immediately exercise my capability as thread originator and close it. Seeking Understanding asked: Why don't you use the same strong language on Beck then? He is in the media no? Edited to add - I certainly don't assume either to be malicious, but certainly if one is the other is as well? I replied: I'm disappointed that he is so obviously misinformed on this matter (I've never stated or implied otherwise). At the same time, I'm guessing he was probably provoked by hate mail. And hate mail from anti-Mormons can be among the the most vicious. For that reason, if nothing else, I'm not inclined to jump in on the dogpile. 4
