Damien the Leper Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 They were also highly influential in developing masonic ideas, but I'm honestly not seeing much more than a highly subjective aproach on your part. Apologies. I'll try to be more objective. I honestly was not aware of Moravian influence on Masonry. I'll have to look into that.
Stone holm Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I'm not concerned with the Protestants. The Orthodox Churches and Rome agree on a great deal. Please answer the CFR or retract your claim. Responding with questions is not appropriate. You want me to outline the differences between the Orthodox Churches and Rome? If that is the case, its not worth the effort and I retract, didn't realize that the Orthodox and the Roman Catholic Church were on the verge of merging.

As Timothy says, "all scripture is breathed by God." Undermining this is heretical. I am beginning to believe that sola scriptural is also heretical. The Magisterium is also authoritative. This is an area where I can empathise with the LDS in the sense that prophetic teaching can be considered authoritative alongside their scriptures. The Muratorian Canon is our best guide. The Gnostic writings are heretical. That is one area where Orthodoxy failed...and that is wiping the Gnostics out. Labeling a document heretical doesn't mean anything more than saying, I don't believe in it. Tell that to Irenaeus of Lyons. His work Against All Heresies is a great guide. I also recommend Origen's Contra Celsus.

No one is suggesting such and your sarcasm has been noted.
cipriano Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Hello,I joined the board just to ask this one question: Whatever happened to Nick Litersky's "Method Infinite: Freemasonry and the Mormon Restoration". It's been "forthcoming" for over a decade. Does anyone know Mr. Literski or the gentleman behind Kofford Books, and have any inside info? Thanks
