I heard Reid Nibley answer a question about his mother:

"My mother was hell on wheels! She pushed her children."

Reid Nibley's mother had the distinct advantage of "pushing" genius progeny; while, my mother had to suffer with a bunch of musical dunces. Give Mom some credit, her efforts did ensure that each us developed some musical skills and musical appreciation--but no real talent. She is a very talented musician herself, so I imagine a bit of disappointment that none of her brood ever developed any real musical talent.

I think if one of us had learned to do what this woman does, Mom would have been more than pleased.
