It is also interesting to note that Obama extended some preexisting social programs and added very little in the way of new ones. That means that those dependent on the Obama government were also dependent on the Bush government. :vader:

Obamacare is a "very little" new social program?

Believe you me, I had my misgivings with Bush but, sheesh!!! And I'm still waiting for that promised tax cut Obama said I'd be getting.

Here's two other "small" social programs:

If Ihad a public job, or a job that was contracted with a public entity like the two in those video and lived in CA, it would not be Mitt Romney that I would worry about. It would be the fact that CA is heading over the fiscal cliff as we speak. They may worry about Mitt raising taxes, but when cities all over CA go bankrupt, one of the first places they go looking for savings is with municipal workers contracts and benefits.

No, this kind of drivel won't hurt Mitt or the church one bit.

There really is no such thing as negative publicity for the Church. The honest will continue to come to the Church of Jesus Christ to find the words of life.

Oh, and we are going to be treated badly by the world anyway. That's part of our calling to come out of the world.

Harry Reid is a Mormon too...

Thats a good point... if he hasn't negatively impacted the church, then I don't think Romney will. On that note, it is amazing how often mitt is associated with mormonism and how Reid is almost never associated with it.

I know this is getting too political for this forum but what a load of garbage. You're saying that 80% of those who are locked into voting for Obama are retirees. The ones who saw a $700 billion reduction in Medicare expenditures? That (at least) some fo the 15-17 % are military vets while military layoffs are being superficially stalled until after November? And to suggest that Romney does nothing to get his pay and imply he did little to nothing to earn it shows a high level of ignrance. He worked hard and smart all his life to get what he has and he's a very thrifty man.

You honestly think that the vast majority of people who asre in lockstep support for Obama are those whose livelyhoods are under threat by Obama's policies?

80% of Romney's 47% are retirees.

There is no $700 billion reduction in medicare under Obama. That is the savings from over payments to hospitals, and the government not paying for mistakes made by doctors that have to be corrected. Further this has already been agreed to by those hospitals. It plows the savings back into medicare. It is the Romney Ryan plan that removes those savings and gives it back to the insurance companies. Then gives you a declining in value voucher.

Romney retired from Bane Capital in 1999. In 2010 and 2011 he received $20 million each year for not working.

Few livelihoods are under threat from Obama. The actual numbers of governmental employees has gone done under Obama. Further I have yet to see a Perp Walk by a single bankster. You know the ones that stole a Quadrillion dollars.

. All that shows is Mitt Romney does not care about the middle class either.

That is the biggest non sequitir I have ever read.
