DBMormon Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Suppose it was an answer on the same level as your witness of the Spirit as to the truth of the Church. Would that not suffice? perhaps, if it occured as strongly as I remember it having done so. Perhaps.
BookofMormonLuvr Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 (edited) **Note: I do not believe in the teaching of plural marraige or its varients, and I do not believe LDS 132 came from Joseph.**As I investigated different groups after leaving the LDS Church, this is the one scenario I personally saw played out in regards to this verse...The prophet of a particular fundamentalist group contracted a form of cancer that left him infertile. A few of his wives were still of child bearing age and they were given the option of marrying, for time, another priesthood man, of their chosing, in the group. The women were, if they so chose, still able to bear children, and the brothers that took on the wives were helping "raise up seed" for their brother. Edited June 6, 2012 by BookofMormonLuvr
