I will try to view the video later. In the meantime, I want to mention that I myself have come to a provisional conclusion that human consciousness is actually centered outside this perceptible universe -- probably in the presence of God Himself -- and our bodies are all waldoes for our spirits, which communicate seamlessly by way of entrained particles, which is a quantum phenomenum in any event.

This is something I am not prepared to offer any mathematical proof for, regretably.

You are not alone in your belief about life being a simulation. There are several respected physicists who believe that there is plenty of scientific evidence that we are living in a simulation. Just google Oxford Professor Nick Bostrom, or read about the Simulated Life Theory here:

I found it interesting, and I thought some of you might like to post your thoughts and comments.

I like the position that Stapp takes regarding the existence of free will, but he doesn't do a very good job of explaining how quantum mechanics relates to the 'psychological' processes of the mind. He distinguishes between physical (classical/mechanical) and psychological processes (quantum), but I don't agree with that breakdown. QM is a theory of very physical processes, it just happens to be one where an ultimate view of physical observations or measurements is elusive. QM exposes the relationship between the observer and the observed as a type of relative relationship. It opens the door to a whole range of possible alternative existences, which is the best news that supporters of free will could ever have.
