I think they do. BTW, I don not ask in jest. When does criticism become so bad that people are tuned off and come to Mormons for the truth?Some examples would be great…I will give you my own.We had a member of our Stake called to serve as a Mission President. He was the member of a very small community near the Alabama Border (Buchanan, GA…site of the first Mormon Chapel in Georgia). Once it was announced in the local paper that Brother Kimball (no relation to President Kimball…btw his grandmother wrote a book called “Miracle of the South” about the Church’s beginning in Georgia) was called to serve in this position a local Pastor thought he should have a meeting concerning the “evils of Mormonism”. During this meeting a business owner stood up and declared “I have known the Kimball’s all my life and I am not going to listen to anymore of this”! Most people followed him out of the meeting. Too many critics go too far.
