LeSellers Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Fun fact if you google gctf-welfare schools you only get hits that are all by LehiMost others in the Alliance for the Separation of School and State use the alternative "grtf", "government-run, tax-funded". I prefer "government-controlled" because it makes the point better, in my opinion. Even a private school in today's world is largely government controlled because of all of the regulations it must meet; regulations designed to make entry into the field more expensive and difficult and hence, less likely. Government hates competition and has the power to eliminate or reduce it. The "welfare" part is not my own, either. If a "free" school lunch at 11:45 is welfare, as most will readily agree, a "free" math class at 9:15 is no less welfare.Lehi
