WalkerW Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 A new book by Duke economist Timur Kuran was released titled The Long Divergence: How Islamic Law Held Back the Middle East (Princeton University Press, 2011). I was wondering if Dr. Peterson had any comments on the book.
firepatch36 Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 I've heard that it's a good book. I should read it soon, I teach economic history and am contemplating using it in my class based on recommendations.

Feel free to send me a personal message if you don't want to post it here. I'm finishing up my undergrad in Organizational Behavior and economics is one of my key interests. I'd love any book/economist recommendations that you have.
