Do we know who wrote the Gospel of Luke, and The Book of Acts?

(I know Luke is usually held to be the author, but I understand some modern critics have questioned that, and I was wondering if latter day revelation has anything to say on the subject.)

All of the four Gospels appear to be abridgements of larger records the original of which have not survived, and may have been deliberately suppressed.

Do we know who wrote the Gospel of Luke, and The Book of Acts?

With rare exception, we have not received any specific information on the authors of the Bible.

We know that John wrote Revelation, that Isaiah wrote the prophetic book ascribed to him, and that Moses wrote at least the sources for modern-day Genesis and Exodus. Jeremiah wrote his book, and Malachi his. Aside from those (I haven't done a check), I can't recall any other.

Joseph Smith related that Paul wrote some of his books, but it was not through revelation that we know this, as far as I can tell.

I believe, however, that the Gospels were written by their purported authors (Joseph labels them the "Testimony of St Matthew/Mark/Luke/John"), and while we have no canonical source for it, it is reasonable to hold that whoever wrote Luke also wrote Acts.

They also question the Book of Hebrews after 2,000 years as too Paul being the author. Truth is Biblical scholars are unsure about many books of the Bible as to when and who wrote them.
