I'm thinking friend consig has forgotten that apostate enemies have misappropriated Church intellectual property, URLs, texts, and other, even more critical intellectual property. The legal owner is entitled to take reasonable steps to protect his property. Should the specified stewards of the Church's property, held in trust for all, not be permitted to do all that is reasonably necessary and prudent to protect that property? Context, ol' buddy. Ain't nothing offensive about people making clear delineations between the "thine" and the "mine," such that nobody carelessly transgresses boundaries and finds himself in violation of the "no stealing" commandment.

Like I said according to your outhouse lawyer baloney, the ward Bishop cannot put the logo on the weekly programs, or use the logo when promoting a ward social event, nor can a missionary make holiday cards with the logo on it.

Stop being a crappy lawyer and look at reality, it is non commercial private use, it is not a violation of any copyright law in the United States, and the Church doesn't intend it that way either.

Only outhouse lawyers like to see things that way.

Not accurate, and, '86, Scott had good reason a couple of years ago to become nauseatingly acquainted with the vagaries of copyright/trademark laws in the company of worse than outhouse lawyers.
