Predestination

Nah LDSGuy, the word predestinate is in the KJV, but it's talking about foreordination in that section, not predestination. In other words, being called to do something (which doesn't always mean you actually do it - for that you have to be chosen).

But yah =P.

It's a laughing face... it's chat-speak. Look at it horizontally. It just means I'm laughing... either at something simple, or at myself. Sometimes it is used ironically at a bad event as well. Just expresses emotion.

Romans 8:30, Ephesians 1:5, JST Romans 8:29, JST Romans 8:30, Romans 8:29, Ephesians 1:11.

The word is 'predestinate' in the Bible, so that's probably why it didn't show up.

However, the context upon which it is used means foreordination. Nobody is automatically guaranteed salvation. Perhaps forseen, but God doesn't tell who is forseen, if he does forsee.

So even though it's in there, it doesn't mean what people think it does. Topical Guide gives some good info.
