So, this is Facsimile 1 taken from the vignette from the "Document of Breathings Made By Isis for Her Brother Osiris", aka the Hor Book of breathings.

Joseph calls Figure 9 "The idolatrous god of Pharaoh."

If you look at pg 20 of Michael Rhodes's translation in the BoA Studies Series he provides a translation from a text, that I presume comes from one of the temple walls, at Dendara:

"Horus has come bringing the divine body of Osiris upon the water on this day(the 116th of Khoiakh) in his form of a crocodile."

Any thoughts?

In the fully anthropomorphic form Horus appears as an adult god or more usually as a child, wearing the sidelock of youth, who is the son of Isis. Horus as a boy also appears dominating crocodiles, serpents and other noxious animals on cippi. Sometimes on cippi, the head of the child was often surmounted by a Bes-head, or perhaps a Bes mask.
