Otherwise he might have died with much less conviction of his own salvation, considering his martyrdom! As far as not being perfect without our dead, it still doesn't imply that our own salvation may be jeopardised because of someone else's failure to exercise their agency. I don't think this particular teaching means that our "dead" must be saved before we can be.Agreed on both counts.They must be rightful accusers and the timetable aspect is wrong.

It is too hard to do alone. But possibly there are those who gained salvation here in the flesh pretty much on their own. Like the prophet Ether.Richard
