I then had to pass the driving part of the test to be reward with my license.How do you interpret this verse-26 And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever.(Pearl of Great Price | Abraham 3:26)The way I interpret this verse is that our first estate was the pre-earth life. Some chose not to keep that estate and were cast out of heaven (the devil and his angels). The next part of the verse states-.."and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate". Now. the way i understand this is that the devil and his angels will not have glory in the same kingdom- the one we are now in. The way I interpret this verse is that upon retaining our first estate and being born into mortality we receive glory in this kingdom. If we keep this estate, then we will have glory again added, only the next time it will be forever and ever.

I then had to pass the driving part of the test to be reward with my license.Here in Montana, if you pass the written test, you get what we call a learners permit. It gives you the privilege to drive as long as you have a licensed driver in the vehicle.

Those that loose their first estate will never be given an opportunity to the challenges of the second. Just like if I had failed the first part of the test to receive my drivers license I would have not been given a chance at the second until I pass the first part.

Those angels of the devil never get to receive the glory of this earth life which those who are born receive- namely, the light of christ. All spirits had some glory in the pre-earth life. The test was that if they retained their standing with God in that life they would have glory added to them being born into the second estate (the one we are now in. If they passed that test they would again have additional glory added upon them forever and ever.

If it weren't, the devil's angels wouldn't prefer possessing swine to disembodiment. There must be a reason that having a body is preferred.It may not seem like a reward, but it's obviously prized - even by those who will be cast out.
