bluebell Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Remember when God says in Moses, "this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man."Immortality is the conquoring of physical death, and eternal life is the conquoring of spiritual death. Both deaths must be conquored to bring about God's work and His glory and so it is important to remember that those two terms, which can seem synonomous, can also refer to very separate events and blessings.

"Immortality" is existence without mortality. "Eternal life" contains the word Eternal which is rich in meaning. "Eternal" implies endless in duration, but it may also refer to infinity in other dimensions than time, such as perception, attributes, experience etc.

Life is something that grows, progresses... plant vs. rock. plants grow. "Life" is akin to eternal progression... There is no end to glory; There is no end to love; There is no end to being; There is no death above ..."life" is the chance for an existence that is not stagnant.
