Rashi interpreted the rich as having reference to the ruler the servant would subject himself to, even to be put to death by, if he so fancied.

And I have some scholarship that shows the servant is Jehoachin. I know, there have been *many* individuals proposed through the centuries, without doubt, but none ofthem so singularly fit the match I have read about Jehoachin yet. Hezekiah fails on too many points, as does Isaiah himself. Christ is the interpretation from the Christian view, but the info on Jehoachin is quite good. I shall get a reference later if there is any interest.
