Since our good friend is officially sticking his fingers in his ears in regard to me, could someone else relay this message?

2. I have misquoted no one since the names associated with the mock-dialogue are fictitious,

Then why are mine and ttribe's names a part of them?

By the way, you have still yet to address any of my points, which I suspect is the real reason why you've put me on ignore. Imagine someone doing this in a live debate.

Done. :P

1. I've answered you. 2. No one with any class in a "live debate" would call their opponet a D****. And don't play the innocent "that's your name" game. No one, I don't think, has to deal with that level of childish and obnoxious (not to mention offensive and profane) name calling. So, since you've been answered. Please stop pestering me. Think whatever you like about my "ignore button" and you. I answered you here as a courtesy because perhaps you missed my reasons. So , now we are clear.

1. I've answered you.

No you haven't. You've completely ignored my arguments about occultism. Why?

(Again, could someone please relay this message?)

Done. ;)

Thanks. :P

No one here said "you're a ****," Dick, Richie, Richard, rabanes, or whatever else you may or may not prefer to be called. I did not see the indefinite article 'a' in Tzusuki's wording--anywhere--much less using the word you're in such a phrase. As I said, Dick indeed is a short name for Richard. If Dick Baer still is alive, just ask him! ;)

Certifiable idiot? You??? I told you the absolute truth. You indeed might be an idiot if you discount the truth. Surely, your rendition of the "Holy Spirit" TM

Children's games....... :P

1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

- Matthew 18:1-6

Pass it on.

You can identify this little gang of MADB as losers...for they have lost out on what it means to be kind, caring and respectful to Righteousness. They give a bad light to those who identify themselves as Mormons. The individuals who are moderating and administering the filth on the board... should be thrown out with the rest of the trash... where they can compete with the other vermin for rotten food, for these individuals are very rotten and spoiled.

Sincerely,

Joy Christ

I suspect you didn't even bother reading my reply. I answered this. Yes. I often wonder what in the world......oh, nevermind.

Here are your replies. Neither of them answers the question.

Stuff like this is found all the time in hefty tomes. That portion of the endnote should indeed be in quotes, followed by attribution .... (see Jerald and Sandra Tanner, The Changing World of Mormonism, p. 226). I probably copied this JOD phrase, plus the accompanying lead sentence to save time typing, then I checked the Heber quote with my own JOD set. That's why our credits for HCK are actually different. Mine is more complete --

Me: Heber C. Kimball, January 11, 1857, JOD, vol. 4, 178.

Tanner: Journal of Discourses, vol. 4, p.178.

The change in the apparatus is no proof that you read the original quote. It simply indicates a consistent

practice of quoting JoD. If you did, why did you leave out

the disputed part? Are you saying that you verified every quote in ONUG? If so, then please provide the original

source of the Brigham Young quote at the beginning of "Unholy Matrimony."

If you have forgotten it, I repeat it here:

"We shall pull the wool over the eyes of the American people and make them swallow Mormonism, polygamy and all."

(Originally quoted in E.A. Folk, "Story of Mormonism." That is at best a second-hand source.

Second, I had my own set of JOD that I often read at length.

Then you could not possibly have missed the rest of the paragraph you quoted.

What do you have to say about the Deseret Currency thing I mentioned, Mr. Abanes?

It looks like he isn't going to answer you, kamenraider. Maybe you should have called him an insulting name so he could redirect attention away from his mistakes.
