The New Wine is Jesus Teachings

"

Nor do people put new wine into old
wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst,
and the wine pours out and the
wineskins are ruined; but they put new
wine into fresh wineskins, and both are
preserved.

" (Matthew, 9:17)

The old wineskins were the Pharisees, the scribes, and the temple's priesthood. The new wineskins were the apostles Jesus chose to deliver his teachings. The apostles were simple people: commoners. They were fishermen or tax collectors. They were not scholars. The new wine was Jesus' new teachings. Jesus chose new wineskins to deliver his teachings. He didn't use old wineskins because they would burst, and the wine would pours out. Old wineskins can't deliver Jesus' new teaching. The apostles were clean pages, so Jesus could write his teachings into those pages. The scribes and the Pharisees were pages that were already written on. Jesus couldn't write into those pages. The fishermen and the tax collectors will deliver Jesus' new teaching as it is. The scholars would mix their old teachings with Jesus' new ones to deliver something different.

Paul was a Pharisee. He was an old wineskin. He wasn't according to Jesus' heart. Christians talk about the anti-Christ, while they have been following one, Paul.

That seems a little unfair. Paul was a Pharisee, but he went a long way from that, he got jumped by Jesus on the road, got baptized, went to Arabia, and returned rather anti-Pharisee, anti-Mosaic Law. Very Pro-Jesus, Pro-Sermon on the Mount teachings, not returning evil for evil. Beware the doctrine of the Pharisees, but Paul was not very Pharisee-like when he got reeducated about Christianity is not the Law of Moses, and Jesus' Sermon is the new Law of Love.

I don't believe his story. I believe he made it up all to weasel his way up the hierarchy until put himself at the head of the Church as the first Pope ever, speaking on God's behalf! He copied the temple system into Christianity, and that is how the Catholic system was created. I can talk a lot about this man, but the time isn't right for more talking.

Well, it was Luke in Acts that helps support the story. If Paul lied, the Jews killed Peter and Paul at the same time, Paul never took over, and if he were an insurgent, they killed him for no reason. What Pharisee teachings does Paul teach? Paul seems very like yourself, rejecting the Law/Old Testament and embracing a new compassionate law of Jesus.

That's why I hesitated to talk against him, and that's why I will stop to talk against him.

He said, 'All the book is from God.' He shouldn't have said that.

I don't know if he said "All the book is from God"

"

All Scripture is inspired by God and
profitable for teaching, for reproof, for
correction, for training in righteousness

" (2nd Timothy, 3:16)

He also said that his teachings and words are from God!

"

and my message and my preaching
were not in persuasive words of wisdom,
but in demonstration of the Spirit and of
power, so that your faith would not rest on the
wisdom of men, but on the power of
God.

" (1st Corinthians, 2:4,5)
