There are quite a few.

There is a guy named Glen Cook who is the first Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Utah in 60 years.

(For nearly a century, the Grand Lodge of the State of Utah would not admit citizens of that state who were Mormons,  although it received them from other states or countries.  It considered the Temple rituals to be a counterfeit of Masonic ritual: no other Masonic jurisdiction followed suit or concurred with the GL of Utah, and they dropped this restriction about twenty or thirty years ago).

I'm about to become a Freemason. The local Lodge just voted to accept me, and they'll probably schedule my Entered Apprentice initiation for about a month or two from now.

Grandfather and an Uncle were both Shriners. Grandad favored the Scottish Rite and my uncle favored the York. But he and my aunt were especially active in the Eastern Star. 

I  know Utah lodges would not accept LDS until 1982 ( alleged similarities between the initiation rituals of the Blue Lodge and Temple ceremonies). Anyone experience being rebuffed over that?

I have been asked if I wanted to join. But I am not a joiner by nature. I joined the Army, the police, and the Church, but only because I believed deeply in those missions and callings. But there is young man who posted here often in the past, Matthew Glenn.
