Roy Roberts
A lot of doubt is being written about Job being in physical form and seeing God in the latter days. It makes sense that he was referring to this since the first part of the verse talks about worms destroying his physical body in the grave. But the clincher is Jesus! After His resurrection he ate fish and told them to handle Him that a spirit does not have flesh and bones as He had after His resurrection. Job had the knowledge that Jesus Christ later showed us to be true. Here is Job's passage from chapter 19: 25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:26 and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:27 whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another;though my reins be consumed within me. All who come forth in the first resurrection (when Christ comes) all who are resurrection will see him in the flesh as they will have bodies of flesh and bone. Perfectly scriptural and doctrinal. For those will have to wait until the second resurrection. They will not see him rise with the Saints and will see him at the final judgement. Link to comment
