Bill Hamblin Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 My outline of the resurrection narratives, in celebration of Easterhttp://mormonscriptureexplorations.wordpress.com/2013/03/30/he-is-risen/ 1
Mudcat Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Alithos anesti!Christ's passion has been a topic on me. I suppose it started with me Thursday night, wondering what it must have been like .. thinking that if times zones were consistent along with dates.. this would have been the point Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemanae. Peter perhaps dozing fitfully amongst the others, at Christ's statement that Peter would deny him. Judas had likely already slipped away to transact the sale of Jesus' life.I think of Isaiah 53:5. He has done it for us. 1
Daniel Peterson Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 For whatever it may be worth, I've posting links to various Easter-related items over at my blog:http://www.patheos.com/blogs/danpeterson/And I'll probably do one or two more, at least. 1
changed Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 We had a great Stake conference a little bit ago - in which we talked about the "touch me not" scripture. (New Testament | John 20:17)17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.That a better translation is "cling to me not". linkhaptomai - to fasten one's self to, adhere to, cling to.so there's the Easter thought I will pass along for the morning.
