I think as far as Farmington is concerned there really is no bad neighborhood there. It is a really nice area and a great place to live. You more than likely will be living right next to the mountains too. I like Farmington alot. Not to mention you would be really close to Lagoon.I too have never understood the stigma Utah receives. Most people complain about it and when they narrow down their complaints I look at the state they live in (CA) and wonder why they don't complain about their own state how often times has way more regulation and often times has the same laws we have here.
