Maidservant Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I listened to this and waves and waves of revelation downloaded to me (lots of preparation over months/years)--put together right here. Thanks.
JeremyOrbe-Smith Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Great stuff! I'm currently going through another reread of Hamlet's Mill, and there's all sorts of fun connections. Some other good related videos: ...(I feel obliged, however, to register my traditional bummed-out-ness that the dominant paradigm still seems to be that Asherah-worship was part of an apostasy rather than an aspect of First Temple theology that has been apostatized from. The biblical authors and editors, however, clearly rejected Asherah worship. No where in the Bible is it approved, and it is explicitly condemned many times.
JeremyOrbe-Smith Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Of course! By designing and corrupt transcribers who committed many errors. *grin* ('twas but a quibble. The rest of the presentation was great!)
