I'm sure I could find the verses (I think that is in the Book of Mormon).Bt the sins of the fathers can sure influence future generations.

One side believes gay relationships are a sin. The other side believes that intolerance of relationships that come from a natural orientation is the "sin".

In my understanding of the interview he was issuing a blanket condemnation of anyone who would abuse, break or try to change the marriage covenants we make with spouses and God to tickle our own fancy. Gay activists reacted strongly. A hit bird flutters I guess. 1
