Lughnassadh Blessings

Recommended Posts

The Irish festival of Lughnassadh, celebrated on or about August 1 (halfway between the summer solstice and the autumnal equinox) represents the beginning of the harvest season on the northern hemisphere.

Last night, just before midnight, I saw a mule deer stag where I usually only see does and fawns. It felt like a good omen for the season.
