    • The Book of Mormon is the word of God and a historical record of an ancient people who lived on the American continent. The resurrected Christ literally visited these people.

Very obvious to me but for the record 1 and 1 for both questions. I could not answer any other way. The more I read the Book of Mormon the more I am absolutely certain of it's truth and it's historical accuracy. I am sure scholars and other wise men would declare me a fool for thinking so, but I suppose I must be a "fool" for Christ's sake, I know it is His words they burn into my soul and I would not know any more if I could feel the prints and the nails in His hands and feet than I do now that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God. And that the Book of Mormon is the most powerful witness we have, in fact it was brought forth for this very purpose. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is HIS Church. That is an unpopular point of view but I cannot and will not deny it. If it offends other christians so be it, because Jesus Christ has declared it so.

The following comes to mind:

"And whosoever shall believe in my name, doubting nothing, unto him will I confirm all my words, even unto the ends of the earth. And now, behold, who can stand against the works of the Lord? Who can deny his sayings? Who will rise up against the almighty power of the Lord? Who will despise the works of the Lord? Who will despise the children of Christ? Behold, all ye who are despisers of the works of the Lord, for ye shall wonder and perish. O then despise not, and wonder not, but hearken unto the words of the Lord, and ask the Father in the name of Jesus for what things soever ye shall stand in need. Doubt not, but be believing, and begin as in times of old, and come unto the Lord with all your heart, and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling before him."

I believe the LDS Church is His Church. I just don't believe it is His only church.
