TAO Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) I just thought it was cool looking at how youth outside of the US look at the church =). They view it much more simply, and I think, in a more complete way, I guess.https://lds.org/youth/video/kyiv-ukraine-temple-cultural-celebration?lang=eng Edited February 26, 2011 by TAO
volgadon Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 TAO, several friend of mine and my wife's were part of the cultural event. She probably would have taken part if she didn't move to marry me.

Sky Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 I also watched this piece, and I was amazed to see how happy and enthusiastic they were about having a temple in their own land. They live in distant lands that are far removed from the geographic and cultural heart of Church (Utah and the western United States), but the blessings of the restored gospel are reaching them nonetheless. This is the first temple in the former USSR, and hopefully there will be more to come. I think we could all learn a thing or two from them. 1
